Is it your first time buying a hot tub? We have all been there, the buyer's anxiety that accompanies making a big purchase is normal. Here's a list of important things to know before you buy:

• Make sure you know how to use your tub. You wouldn't believe the amount of stores that don't even supply you with a owner's manual.  

• What chemicals do you prefer? If you want crystal-clear water, you are going to need a water-treatment plan. The three that mainly exist are chlorine, bromine, and salt-water systems.

• How will your new tub get to your home? Shipping and delivery are two different things, you can almost always get something shipped to your home, but only the best companies will send a team to deliver.
